Leo was one of the founding members of the White Hills Cricket Club. Father of Jeff Palmer and Grandfather of current C Grade opener Andrew Palmer.

Paddy Walsh

Inducted: 1972

Ron Salter #3

Inducted: 1977

The legend of Ron Salter is always alive. A Right-Handed batsmen and Left-Arm Off Spinner and long term curator at the Scott Street Oval.
Played for Vic Country in 1966. Ron’s nickname “Bradman of the Bush” was earnt through his reported 100 Centuries, twice he made a double century and once made 300.

Ron was named one of the four inaugural Bendigo Country Week Legends in 2004. His statistics include 248 Wickets at 13.8, with best figures of 9-62 and 3598 runs with an average of 37.4 including 5 centuries.

Ron also coached the Victorian Under 18 side which included a young Dean Jones.

The Victorian Premier League’s vale referred to Ron as “One of Victorian Country Cricket’s great servants”. Ron was inducted as a Life Member of the Victorian Country Cricket League Inc. in 1983

Ron was a member of the 1990/91 B Grade Premiership team, where he took 4/52.

Cliff Hanrahan #30

Inducted: 1987

Cliff Hanrahan was a quick and talented bowler who spent a very long time on the committee during the 1980’s, 1990’s and early 2000’s.

Currently has the BDCA Under 14B Shield named after him in recognition for his many years supporting junior cricketers.

Ray Jelbart #39

Inducted: 1987

A unique Right-Handed batsmen, with defence being his greatest strength. Frustrated many bowlers with this asset.

Jeff Palmer #1

Inducted: 1987

A solid Right-Hand batsmen and Right-Arm spin bowler. Jeff was a stalwart of the White Hills Cricket Club, supporting many of the Junior and younger players as they developed through his captaincy of C Grade for many years.

Jeff made a score of 175* in one of his final years in C Grade.

Phil Potter #13

Inducted: 1989

A Right-Handed batsmen, and a great Wicket-Keeper. Phil was the Captain of the successful 1990/91 premiership team.

Barry Secombe #33

Inducted: 1991

A Right-Arm medium bowler and a Right-Handed batsmen.

Barry was also a long-serving committee member.

Rod Flavell #56

Inducted: 1993

A Right-Handed batsmen. Rod also served as a long time committee member, including the role of President.

Leon Grose #74

Inducted: 1995

A Left-Handed top order batsmen and Right-Arm Leg Spin Bowler who still is referred to as one the greatest cricketers to play in the BDCA. Currently has the BDCA A Grade Champion Player named after him.

Was the BDCA’s all time leading run scorer until the 2014/15 season with 10,417 runs in a career spanning from 1961 to 1997.

Leon also played in the premier league with St Kilda between 1965-70 and locally at the Bendigo United and Sandhurst Cricket Club’s.

Represented the Vic Country team that in 1975 played against the mighty West Indies team.

A member of the successful 1990/91 and 1991/92 premiership winning teams.

Greg O'Brien #70

Inducted: 1995

A Right-Handed opening batsmen and a right-arm medium bowler. One of the most competitive and successful players to have ever played for the White Hills Cricket Club.

A member of the 1990/91 and 1991/92 successful A Grade premiership winning teams.

Steve Rixon #61

Inducted: 1995

A Right-Handed top order batsmen in his younger days, turned into one of BDCA’s premier opening bowlers. Produced a sensational spell during the 1991/92 Grand Final claiming 7-52.

Renowned for his hard hitting, including high catches at training that sometimes came down with snow on them.

A member of the successful 1990/91 and 1992/93 A Grade Premiership winning teams.

Noel Bruhn

Inducted: 1997

Noel was a long-serving committee member who always supported the club as well as his two sons.

Always around the club helping out, and played a critical part in running the club in the 1990’s and early 2000’s.

Cameron Shaw #59

Inducted: 1999

A Left-Handed Batsmen, Wicket Keeper and Part-Time Spinner.

A member of the successful 1989/90 B Grade Premiership team.

Andrew McArthur #46

Inducted: 2006

A Left-Handed opening Batsmen with a solid technique and great concentration.

Glenn Roulston #109

Inducted: 2011

A Right-Arm Medium Bowler and RH lower order Batsmen. The workhorse of the A Grade bowling attack for almost 2 decades. A very clever bowler with great accuracy and consistent movement. Arguably one of the most underrated bowlers in the BDCA in the last 20 years. Also a very handy batter who could hold his own.

Glenn has played over 300 games for the White Hills Cricket Club in his career, taking over 400 wickets. He has played over 200 A Grade matches for almost 300 wickets.

Glenn was also a member of the successful 1990/91 B Grade winning team. Glenn has also been a long serving member of the committee including the treasurer’s role.

Jock Schofield #96

Inducted: 2013

A Left-Handed opening and top order batsmen and wicket keeper. Jock has been an integral part of the White Hills Cricket Club committee including time in the role of President. Has Captained and Coached the club for numerous years.

Tom McCullough #93

Inducted: 2014

A Right-Handed middle order batsmen and Left-Arm medium bowler. Tom was awarded the BDCA’s B Grade Runs Aggregate in xxxx. A long serving committee member.

Has spent time coaching Junior sides, and currently organises the Milo In2 Cricket and T20 Blast programs at the White Hills Cricket Club. Tom was a member of the 1990/91 B Grade Premiership team.
